Connect Birdseye with Zapier
What you will accomplish
You will create a one-time-visible integration API key for the Birdseye Zapier app or another approved partner intake flow.
Who can do this
Owners and Admins can create and revoke integration keys.
Before you start
Know the Zap's purpose and who will own it. A key is a credential; never place it in a document, screenshot, ticket, or chat.
Create the key
- Open Account menu → Config → Connect your data.
- Select the Zapier area.
- Under Integration API keys, select Key type.
- Enter a descriptive Key name.
- Select Create key.
- Select Copy immediately.
- Store the key in the Zapier connection or an approved secret store.
- Select Done.
The full key is shown only once. The list later shows its prefix, last-used value, and status—not the secret.
Revoke a key
- Find the active key.
- Confirm which Zap or integration uses it.
- Select Revoke.
- Update or disable the external automation.
Expected result: the new key is listed by name without revealing its secret again, and a Zap using the copied credential can access only the supported integration actions.
Troubleshooting and recovery
- You lost the key: create a replacement and revoke the old one.
- A Zap stops authenticating: check key status and whether it was copied exactly.
- A key has unexpected use: revoke it and investigate the owning automation.
