Connect Google Sheets
What you will accomplish
You will connect a Google Sheet to one track and rooftop with read-only or two-way behavior.
Who can do this
Owners and Admins can connect Sheets when the workspace integration is configured.
Before you start
Have the Google Sheet link and permission to connect it. Decide whether Birdseye should only read the sheet or whether eligible Birdseye edits may update it.
Connect the sheet
- Open Account menu → Config → Connect your data.
- Select Google Sheets.
- Select Target track.
- Select Rooftop.
- Paste the Google Sheet link.
- Under Sync direction, select Read-only — mirror my sheet into Birdseye or Two-way — edits in Birdseye update my sheet.
- Select Connect Google Sheet.
- Complete any Google approval step.
Expected result: the page reports that the sheet is connected and will start syncing on the next run.
Troubleshooting and recovery
- Google Sheets isn't set up: the workspace integration needs administrator or Birdseye provisioning.
- Connect is disabled: choose track and rooftop and enter a valid link.
- Two-way changes are not sent: review the write-back mode and queue.
- The wrong sheet or rooftop was chosen: stop and correct the connection before relying on imported records.
