Navigate Birdseye

What you will accomplish

You will use the header, main destinations, scope controls, and account menu without losing your working context.

Who can do this

All signed-in roles can navigate. Destinations change with role, vertical, enabled tracks, and plan.

Before you start

Confirm that you are in the intended workspace. A scope is the rooftop, location, unit, team, or domain whose data is currently included.

Use the main navigation

Birdseye web header with 1 marking the primary navigation and 2 marking the account menu

  1. Select Home for the workspace summary.
  2. Select Views for Angles, Watch Tower, and other available analysis surfaces.
  3. Select Workflow to open /stations/workflow and work with stage-based boards.
  4. Select a track name to open its record page.
  5. Select the bell or Signals to open the Signals inbox.
  6. Select Ask to ask a data-grounded question when AI Insights is available.

Change workspace or scope

  1. Find the workspace or scope control in the header.
  2. Select it.
  3. Select the intended workspace or operating scope.
  4. Re-read the page title and active scope before acting.

Expected result: the page refreshes its data for the selected context. Filters and range choices may also affect what remains visible.

Use the account menu

  1. Select your avatar or name in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Profile, Settings, Help Center, or Support.
  3. Owners and Admins can select Config.
  4. Select Sign out only when you are ready to end the session.

Troubleshooting and recovery

  • A destination is absent: check role, track access, vertical, and plan.
  • A link opens a locked page: follow the availability message or ask an Owner.
  • Data changed unexpectedly: recheck workspace, scope, range, and filters.
